Wenn der Rechner startet aber Windows nicht oder teilweise geladen wird gibt es folgende Gründe:
Die Festplatten sind einem Windows-Start noch nicht vollständig angelaufen.
Also muss der Startvorgang verlängert werden. Im Bios (zweites Menu) "Quick Power on Selftest" auf "Disabled" stellen, bewirkt, dass der Speicher vollständig geprüft wird. Die Bezeichnung kann auch "Fast Boot" oder ähnlich lauten.
Fehler beim Laden von Programmen, die fehlerhaft oder nicht mehr vorhanden sind.
Unter Windows\startmenu\programme\autostart werden diese geladen. Einfach alle dort befindlichen Verknüpfungen in ein neues Verzeichnis "AutoAlt" verschieben, und testen, wenn der Fehler verschwindet danach die wirklich benötigten, einzeln zurückkopieren und testen.
Der große Blackout
Es war der bislang schlimmste Blackout in der Geschichte der USA: Am Nachmittag des 14. August (Ortszeit) fiel innerhalb weniger Minuten im Nordosten der USA und in Teilen Kanada der Strom aus. In Städten wie New York, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto und Ottawa herrschten teilweise chaotische Zustände, zeitweise waren 50 Millionen Menschen betroffen. Die Ursache für den gewaltigen Blackout blieb zunächst buchstäblich im Dunkeln: Kanadische und US-Kraftwerksbetreiber wiesen sich gegenseitig die Schuld für den Stromausfall zu.
