Damit habe ich mit sehr geringen Aufwand eine komplette Sicherung aller eigenen Dateien und kann sofort, falls notwendig am zweiten Computer arbeiten. Aber auch den ersten Computer nach Neuinstallation des Betriebsystems, der Wichtigsten Programme, alle Update aus NEUE PROGRAMME relativ schnell wieder in Betrieb nehmen.
Bleibt noch die Frage warum ich zwei Rechner habe. Einmal weil ich lange Zeit als Sysop viele Programme testen musste und mir nicht meinen Arbeitscomputer dabei "verderben" wollte, weil der zweite Computer als "Abfallprodukt" bei einem Rechner Update entstand und ich nun die Rechner wechselseitig auf und umrüste, so dass ich stets eine "neuen" Arbeitscomputer und einen eine Generation zurückliegenden Backup-Rechner habe.

Eine Lösung für WIN95/98,ME, 2000 mit großem Änderungsanfall und großen Festplatten.
Gerade bei WIN95/98 ist die Beseitigung installierter Programme meist problematisch, die viele Programme zum deinstallieren, die jedoch auch meist nicht vollkommen sind, zeugen davon.
